McMaster door surround cutting/fitment

I have done a lot of reading/researching/and searching on the forums and I keep coming back to the same old articles from when everyone was initially installing the McMaster seals (2010-2013 timeframe). Many of them reference Ivan Kristensen’s video, photos, and measurements but all of the links take me to a Phanfare website that no longer exists. Does anyone know if this info has been rehosted on a different server/website? If not does anyone have a new “go to” source for guys like me who are visual learners and need more than just a wordy description?

Along with Ivan's videos and photos I found Mark Ciaglia's page useful for doing the doors. In particular installing the door seal and setting the door gap.

One thing I never see or read about this - what exactly is the part number at McMaster Carr? They've got a lot of different door seals that might work.. but which one are we all using?

Why do people use the McMaster seals over what Vans supplies?

I chose the McMaster seal because it looks more professional. It's just like a car door. The only downside is you have to cover up the hinges to complete the seal which requires a little fiberglass fabrication.

The stock seals are kind of clunky and ugly. But they do work.
