Took off today from Raleigh enroute to Florida. Upon contact with approach for flight following I noticed the receiver volume was low. So, of course I adjusted the volume up (when you turn the volume knob a slider bar appears and the % of volume is shown). All good, right? Nope, the volume then began slowly decreasing. The slider moved left, the percentage decreased and what I was able to hear decreased. After about an hour of trying to sort this out, the volume knob became unresponsive, the volume was set near zero (I couldn't hear a thing) and the slider and % symbol did not appear. I ended up transmitting on the GTR and receiving on my handheld Icom. What a pain! Has anybody experienced this issue?
