I just looked at the title page. It says gps SIDs. If you don't have a gps then these don't apply to you. If you do have one they are very easy to fly.

Out here in the west there are lots of airports in valleys below radar coverage.
Decline a SID and ATC will just read it to you and make it part of your clearance anyway!

Thanks Turbo. That is a nice site. I rarely fly out of airports that have SID's and STAR's since retiring. However, the equipment in my airplane has the capability, so I feel like I should be able to competently use it if I need it.
