The new engine for a friends build is out of the crate and needed a stand for final assembly of baffles, fuel, exhaust etc.
A quick look in the junk pile revealed this old auto engine stand previously used as a rotisserie pivot on my project. A little cutting and welding and we have an engine stand!
Details: HF $99 engine stand. Flip the upright around to lean the other way, cut the pivot support square tube off at a 9 degree angle and reweld on the other face to make the pivot vertical. Move the diagonal braces down for additional support. Complete
... and no snide comments about the cr..ppy welding!
Cheers
