Elevator fairings

I am mostly done with the fairing work. My question is based upon some people’s statements that at some point, some lead from the tips may have to be added/removed based upon the weight of eventual paint. I have not glassed over my lead weights for this reason but the look is pretty unfinished.

Opinions?

I added a nutplate on the inside of the outboard elevator ribs near the front so that I can add a bolt and a stack of washers to add weight if necessary for balance after paint. My airplane is currently at the and paint shop so I haven’t added the bolt/washers yet.

I left them extra heavy

I left as much lead as I thought would be needed plus a bit. Glassed over the tips for the finish and figured I would simply drill a hole in the tip after paint and fill with epoxy for the final balance.
I just finished my paint and don’t need to remove any of the lead.
