New .401 RIVET SET W/ 3/16 HOLE. $15 + shipping...

Comparable to https://cleavelandtool.com/collecti...-dimpling/products/401-rivet-set-w_-3_16-hole

Great tool for dimpling skins with rivet gun! I use it to hold the male dimple die in the rivet gun, and than use the female dimple die on the other side of the skin. You can use this (https://cleavelandtool.com/collecti...ling/products/tight-fit-dimpling-fixture-3_32) for super tight areas, or what I love to do for say the fuselage is use a bucking bar type object with 3/16 hole in it to hold the female dimple die. Way better imho than using pull rivet technique which makes mediocre dimples at best (in my opinion due to inability to get proper pressure at least for 3/32" dimples). I ended up with two so I hope someone can benefit and pay it forward......Brand new.

At least for me, most useful on fuselage but I also used on tail section too for better dimples. Strongly recommend using this and cleavelandtools tight fit jig too for that matter if dimpling tail ribs. Now that I think of it, if anyone is interested in pull rivet dimple dies 3/32 and 1/8", I can't wait to get those out of my tool box.

Contact however you would like.

As of 4/5/25 tools still for sale. Prior rv builder borrowing tools from friend.

If you are doing tail, you may want to have option of pull type too. If at fuselage, I would skip personally … at least for rv 8.
