Hi folks,
My Quickbuild kit came with the holes in Bulkhead F-706 and Stiffener F-787 dimpled where the F-788 gusset mates. For some reason, I decided to machine counterrsink the holes in the F-788 gusset for the dimples in the skin. This won't work since there shouldn't be dimpled holes below a machine countersunk sheet of AL.
I talked to Vans support on this one and they thought 2 options were acceptable:
What do folks think?
Thanks!
Russ

I talked to Vans support on this one and they thought 2 options were acceptable:
- Order a new F-788 gusset and dimple it instead of machine countersinking it.
- Flatten the appropriate dimples in the bulkhead and stiffener.
What do folks think?
Thanks!
