The original builder had built or ordered a stop mounted adjacent to canopy rail that would catch a swinging toggle that was mounted on the canopy frame. It broke and I couldn't find a replacement. Took it to a local machine shop and they did an excellent job. If any of you are using the same method to stop your canopy, they have my dimensions and have created a template. A pic of the stop/catch is attached.
