VM1000 with e-mags

I'm New Here
Hello everyone,

First timer here. Got an RV-6 in for a few upgrades, AV-30's and E-mags. Owner has a VM1000 installed. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to get the digital tach signal from the emags to display on the tachometer that is on the VM1000? The tach on the VM1000 is just displaying 209.8 which makes no sense to me because it's not even receiving a signal from the emags.

Thanks for any tips or help.

The 209.8 is likely the tach time, which is displayed there until the engine starts.

VM1000 Installation Manual attached for posterity. Page 10.
