Trimmin Trees in a Helicopter

So?

Pretty good flying but you could do that in an RV. Our Army helicopter pilots are trained to "Fly in the trees" as was told to us by an Army instructor at Ft, Walton beach, Florida. The biggest problem here is the chance of killing yourself if you sneak up on an unknown powerline. This has happened more than once in fixed wings skimming down a river. You'd better know the area really well.

amazing-neat stuff

being a helicopter pilot myself, just remember that stalls are not an option, they can use airspeed to any advantage they want, and believe me, slowing to 20-30 knots when you pop over a tree line is a real advantage when you need to get back down, or change direction.

Rgeardless, those are some tight quarters. Watch out for lines like Pierre said, but watch out for deer and rabbits too!
