My 6 sat for 2 weeks without a battery. Now i have red x,s on my screen. Any ideas. I have a call int Michigan avionics
 
Same thing just happened to me. I got a few replies but they didn't seem right so I asked again and got a different answer. Eventually someone replied and gave me the correct answer, by then like you I had figured it out.

Now I'm trying to find out if my Xtreme has something wrong with it because it's missing some indications but I'm being told to just move on and not use that display because I have it on my Garmin GPS already so I don't need it on the MGL. Yep, that's what they told me.
