I need support to connect E-Mag tach signal to MGL RDAC XF

Hi All,

Can I do that directly? Is 12V pulse generated by E-Mag good enough for MGL or it should be decreased to 5V by using Zener Diode?

How the micro switches related with RPM should be setup on RDAC XF?

Check the pages 14-15 of the "RDAC XF & XF MAP Installation Manual". We set up the RDAC XF with the Lightspeed Plasma (10V pulses IIRC), and it was very straight forward. Important is to have the "RPM1 High gain" : OFF and then adjust the sensitivity. The doc has some samples of the voltages and suitable trimmer positions. Worked like a charm...
