I closed on a RV8A yesterday and have had trouble finding a CFI that can give me 3 hours transition training in my aircraft. The CFI needs 500 hours including 25 hours in any Vans RV model, but the 25 needs to be an "A". The seller also needs a Bi-annual review. The CFI must come to KAPA because the seller cannot fly until he completes his BFR. Any referral would be appreciated.
