Are you an under or over (prop cable)?

Our engine builder asked if we were running our prop cable under (Vans plan way) or over via the Showplanes bracket. We are using the PCU prop governor.

Is there a big advantage to the over routing?

If you go with the over route will the standard Vans prop cable still work (same length?)

Probably depends on your setup.
I went over, but that was because I have an air conditioning compressor and the showplanes air intake snorkels in the way so I wasn't able to use the stock under routing.

Can't comment on cable lengths as I have the center arm rest throttle quadrant. I always suggest measuring the cable length you need based on your installation.

I have the PCU gov and I ran mine under. All my cables are run generally following Vans setup. There’s no right or wrong here IMO.
