If you dont have a laptop with a version of windows past XP and you want to update your database
Extremely simple using an old XP laptop and a thumb drive, no apps to download just download the .exe files and windows xp or any version will run the file and load it onto your Garmin data card, takes all of 15 miniutes. If anyone else doesnt own a new win 10 pc and wants to use a good old simple xp laptop, heres how I did it. Downloaded the manual installable files directly onto my samsung phone and transfered them to a cheap 15 dollar dual sided usb-C to usb-3.1 thumb drive, than to the old xp laptop. Once on the laptop just run the files with the garmin update card inserted and it does its thing, than went to the plane and did the update.
