Now that you've been flying for a while, can you comment on what you like or dislike about the way your RV-3's RH side panel is working out? What would you prefer now?

I've seen photos of numerous styles:

Full width of the spar bulkhead, covered (most common), some with hinged tops,

Ditto but open,

Per the plans (not common),

No armrest just a pocket (only one of these so far),

Partly covered and partly open,

Tapered - wider forward, then narrower,

Etc.

Thanks,
Dave

We’ve got them almost full width of the spar bulkhead, with closed hinges covers and mouse pad material on top - just love them! Takes away a little cabin width, of course, but I like how the cockpit sort of hugs us anyway. I fly with my arms on the rests mush of the time, and the padded closed tops make this comfortable.
