We are thinking about making a flight into CYWG just for the day. Can anyone recommend something for my tourist wife to see/do while there?

- The new Human Rights Museum (https://humanrights.ca/) has been popular but I haven't been to it yet
- the aviation museum (http://www.royalaviationmuseum.com/)

That's what I can think of while I quickly pack up head home from work! I'll see if I can post more later. What sort of things does your wife like?

She loves to take photos, of EVERYTHING that's why I tease her and call her a "Paparazzi". The Royal Aviation Museum sounds interesting, at least to me.

Well there's certainly lots to take photos of at the aviation museum!

There's also the Assiniboine Zoo (http://www.assiniboineparkzoo.ca/zoo). We have polar bears!

Manitoba Museum (https://manitobamuseum.ca/main/)

The Forks (http://www.theforks.com/) is a nice place just to hang out, grab a bite to eat and enjoy the sunshine.

I hope these give you some ideas. I'll admit, it's tough to figure out what you could do in just a day.

THANKS sbal0906. We (wife & I) are planning to be there on Sept 11th or 12th for the day. Fly in, tour the museum, have lunch then fly out. Just to say I flew to Canada.
