For those that have installed the Vans angle bracket (aka power module) with the Steinair circuit breaker plate did you have to modify the angle brackets? Can’t seem to get the vertical bus bar to fit. The one that ties all the horizontal bus bars together.

MC607, I had same issue. Ended up cutting notch on top surface arrow is pointing at. This provided clearance for the Steinair circuit breaker and copper bars and screw heads.

Hey Mike,
This is the best configuration I could come up with. Everything is clear except for the top bus bar which is just touching the side flange. I would say 3/32” trimmed away for clearance should suffice, plus heat shrink on all exposed copper. Curious to see how yours looks.

Hey MC607,
I used a dremel to remove material on right side vertical bracket. After assembly, used scope to verify bus bar clearance.

Hope this is helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to do that Mike. Very helpful. It is a tight fit no matter what. I bought a bore scope a while back and it should be on the list of required tools to have.
