Whelen 90340 LED bulb replacement.

I have the combo wingtip Whelen strobe/ nav / pos lights on the wingtip. I think the number is 90340. Would like to replace the bulbs with LED to pull less current draw ( the toggle switch is getting really hot when on) thought I would see if bulb replacement only is possible before replacing everything. Aircraft spruce says you can only buy the entire housing at 750.00, you need 2. Anyone know if you can just replace bulbs.
Thanks.

I found best was the green and red led light under the green and red original globes.

The originals were noisy. Two wraps of the positive lead through a ferrite choke worked- good to hear newer are quiet.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried this solution as a cheap alternative, and as luck would have it they worked. Used the existing housing and unlike the Spruce answers on their web site “ according to Whelen”. You can just replace the bulbs with LEDs. This is what I used if any one else wants to convert. The heat reduction alone from the bulbs was worth changing.
