Lycoming fixed- pitch engine with CSP?

Devo

I'm New Here
I found an RV-6 for sale with an engine/propeller combination I’m curious about. The motor is a Lycoming O-360 A2A engine with constant speed prop. My research shows that this engine is only designed for a fixed pitch prop. The broker states that it has a Hartzell CSP. Please tell me if and how that CSP combo will work. Thanks!

The A2A is the same engine as the A1A without the provisions for a constant speed prop. It is likely your engine had the hollow crank installed at some point and would therefore make it an "experimental" engine. Stock A2A should have 8.5: 1 compression.
