Network Engineer displaced by COVID

TimO

Well Known Member
After 18 years as a Network Engineer at a multi-state hospital system, COVID came and 50% of all IT staff got furloughed. I've got more time than that with Linux/Unix variants of many types, Network/WiFi/VPN/Security/WAN/LAN, Virtualization, and lots more skills areas. Have also led and managed groups of people. Would love to do similar things going forward, or even branch out into something new.

I'm in Wisconsin, and not really looking to relocate, but definitely willing to travel. I'm very comfortable working remotely, as well, as I've spent a lot of time over the years supporting systems from far away as necessary.

If you know of something that helps keep the 100LL flowing, send me a ping.

I'm looking for a database architect, but you will need a DoD Secret clearance and relocate to Palmdale, Ca.

Tim----I am confident that you'll find something. Guys like you are hard to come by, and even harder to keep. You will be an asset to any company that you will work for.
