I'm not the first, won't be the last.
Note to prospective RV-12 builders: Good news, blind rivets are easier to drill out than AN rivets.

Should have left it there John. Makes for a good fuel drain in case your tank leaks.

Hate to admit it, but...I did the same thing in roughly the same place. :eek: Not being able to get the Cleco pliers on the misplaced Cleco and not wanting to drill out some freshly set pop-rivets, I used a Dremel tool to carefully cut off the pointy end of the Cleco that was poking out through the skin. I then used a magnet on a stick to retrieve the errant Cleco body from the bowels of the fuselage. Lesson learned!
