RV10 with air-conditioner close to NY

Hi Guys,
I believe I will go ahead and install an A/C in my -10, but i am having a hard time pulling the trigger on this one... not a straight forward/easy modification as an understatement.
I believe seeing such installation, even if through the baggage bulkhead, and understanding how everything connects would be very helpful/reassuring or terrifying :) but in anycase would help a lot with my decision.

I am in NYC area on February, and would even consider a short flight to to see one. Anyone with air-conditioning around this area?
I am leaning towards Airflow systems, but seeing SF installation will also be nice to see (I understand they are "quite the same")

Thanks
Oren

Have you considered this unit? John Walker really likes his and I?m planning to use the same one this year.

I am planning on travelling with my aircraft (around Europe in my case, hopefully also in the U.S on day), so i won't always have access to a large size freezers. So i don't believe this unit will be usefull to me

Thanks!
Oren

Built in AC is worth it to me. It was 47 and sunny today, was doing ground reference maneuvers and kicked it on. I have an Airflow Systems set up if you have any questions about that.

Hi Oren,

Hello from Downunder !

Australia is experiencing its hotest summer on record. On Friday the 10th of January at 7:10 pm I departed Mudgie for Inverell in central NSW. It was 43 deg C on the ground and as we climbed through 6000 ft it was still over 30 deg C OAT.

I was one of the first customers to install Airflow System's "Aussie Spec" A/C unit over 6 years ago. It has the largest Evap of any of the units currently on offer.
Bill has continually refined his system .

The install is not difficult in the comparison of building an RV-10, just more work.

The latest install I have completed for a remote customer, we bypassed the roof console.

At this temp the A/C was a very nice 18 deg at the forward pilot vents.
