Hmmm, I got a RV Smile on my thumb.

Lesson 2, today... called out headings, called out elevations, circle points of reference ( Big old water tanks over N836BL's QTH, he never came out to look, never even heard me) Sight pictures for headings and references. Slow speed work... full flaps and 53-56 kts IAS, keeping the stall horn from barking at me.

So I set up with full flaperons, felt a little nibble on my thumb, plane is loafing, keeping the plane level, maintaining altitude, not stalling, hand back on the throttle, and the throttle knob is getting sticky... really weird sticky tacky.

And there's blood all over the place, not coming from my nose, or mouth, or anything. Look at the nibble on my thumb, and there it is, the RV Smile on my thumb, bit my thumb, that Johnson bar release did.

Think I need to fix that little biter, once and for all. :)
