Replacement for those darn Bing's?

I have about 1300 hours in front of or behind Bing carbs, not sure what the problem is, they work fine.

Interesting. Can it really be this simple? And relatively cheap. My understanding was it would cost about $8K to do a 912.

1. Sunk floats
2. floats period
3. carb synch

Seriously though, could produce lower fuel burn potentially?

"The superior atomisation of the fuel is easily observed and reflected in greater performance and economy. Regular carburetors do not atomise the fuel nearly as fine or as well. Ultra fine atomisation leads to the reduction of mixture temperature and as a result the density of the incoming charge is greater and more power packed. Put simply it burns better."

Question is would it be enough to make a difference. Just looking for an open debate...

larry, well aware Rotec and Rotax are different companies but Rotec has a TBI unit for the ROTAX 912.

Other Project will be a Baslee Nieuport 24 or 28 with the Rotec.
