GI-260

UnPossible

Well Known Member
Hey - I am working with the guys at Stein to plan the G3X system for the panel in the RV-10 I am building.

I am trying to decide if I want to add the GI-260 AOA indicator on top of the glare sheild.

In my 7A, I had the Advanced Flight Systems AOA in the panel, and I never looked at it while manuvering to land. I am wondering if having it on the glare shield in my field of vision would make the AOA system more useful.

Curious to hear any thoughts as to why or why not you installed the GI-260 in your build, and if you did install it how useful has it been and if you would install it again?

Thanks,
Jason

I have both Dynon and GRT AOA warnings. I never look at them because both put out aural warning tones (slow beeps at first, going to solid tones at stall) and I find those to be much more useful.
