I just gotta say that after doing a 3600nm cross country through Canada, I am blown away at the awesomeness of the RV-8! I'm used to my old RV-4 - 145KTAS, 3hrs + reserves, no A/P, rear baggage only) but the -8 cruises at 170KTAS, 4hrs + reserves, A/P, a full backpack in the front baggage compartment and my new BOSE headset made it all much more enjoyable. I flew CYXC-CYRP (1600nm) in one day and didn't feel all that tired at the end. Seeing 200kts G/S on the MGL became standard going east. It really is an amazing 2 person cross-country machine.
Now, just need some Oregon Aero seats and my butt will match the airplane's endurance lol.
