Vent door knob or ?

I am bored and need to build something. I see Vans offers a knob for the vent door. I also saw a pic of a user on this forum that used model servos to control the doors individually. The servo idea is good but the pushrod will interfere with my headset hook and I don’t have any dash space for the control knobs. I think I am going with the Vans knob idea.

Can anyone post pics of the knobs and how they look installed.

I also used a piece of extra hinge pin to actuate the right-side vent door from afar. I ran the hinge pin from a hole in the arm (90 degree bend) through a plastic-bushed hole in the right wall vertical to terminate in a circle-shaped grip -- all flush with the inside of the right-side interior wall padding and easily accessible by a shoulder-harnessed pilot in the left seat. Not sure if this will still work OK on those aircraft with fancy interior furnishings. ;)

I used 2 Shaker wooden coat pegs. They work great and can pivot out of the way if needed.

I made my own design on a 3D printer. The one in the photo is made from Nylon-CF with an orange PETG infill. Has a slot for the vent door tang and is held on by a screw that goes through a hole in the tang. Basically the same as what KAI 23iS/U calls for.

Also tried a blue with white infill, nice combination but did not work with the black CF panel and gray interior as well as the black/orange version.
