Possibly a dumb baffle question

This is probably a dumb question, but what is this hole in the baffle for? Of all the aircraft pics I've looked at I have never seen this hole being used for anything.

plug wrench

It lines up with the spark plug...a socket extension will fit through the hole...

Suggest taping them off with aluminum duct tape between plug changes to help with cooling.

Ah yes that makes sense. Since I'm using a fiberglass plenum that hole really won't do anything for me i guess.

Or you could use the hardware called out in the plans...AN509-10R10, 2 pcs AN3235-028-24A, MS21042-3.
