"Arm rest" ideas

Will be mounting throttle quad sometime here in the future, laying out switch locations, etc. My thoughts are to extend the throttle base (and opposite side) aft and inward to double as an arm/elbow rest. I've seen some pix but veteran guidance is always appreciated. My current ideas for interior are more utilitarian than "finished." Anyone wish to share ideas and pix of such? Also ready to see a new thread here. Much thanks.

Simple and effective side panel/arm rests

I made some very simple .020" sidepanels with integrated arm rests for my -4 that screw to the longerons and some little attach angles I riveted to the floor. Covers all the cables/wires and flap linkage as well as making a very clean light finished look. All weigh less than 5 lbs.
