Does anyone know of a source for an adapter so you can easily mount a 2-1/16" (52mm) gauge in a conventional 2-1/4 hole?

I have made my own but its kind of a pain.

Hi Charlie, do you have an idea of what it should look like? If so maybe you could 3D print something up? Steve Melton does some amazing things with his 3D printer.

I don't know Steve Melton but what I have done myself is to simply drill out a piece of say 0.040 AS for the 2-1/4" instrument bolt pattern and then cut out a 52 mm hole in the center.

If you could 3D print something out of plastic that was stiff enough without being too thick, say no more than 0.075" then it would be great.

For what it is worth here is a very good template by craggyaero for instrument mounting.
