spark plugs

When I inspect my spark plugs I find that the top and bottom plugs of the
two front cyc. are black and the top and bottoms plugs of the two rear
cyc. are clean, this looks like it should be the reverse sense the rear plugs
are closer to the carb. Has anyone else seen this?

I see that on my #1 cylinder (front right). Don't remember if the #2 is typically black or not. #2 & #4 cylinders always clean.

Yes, I see exactly the same. It has to do with the runners in the intake manifolds not distributing fuel mixture evenly at low RPM's. Nothing to worry about...
