Compensating for gear leg fairing twist?

Fellow VAFers -

I carefully followed the directions for eliminating twist in my gear leg fairings, but as I work through aligning the left fairing it appears that I still have a little twist - maybe 1/8" or so. Since fairing alignment appears to be important, here are a couple of questions -

- Is 1/8" twist important? My sense is that it isn't, but the instructions make a big deal about getting twist out of the fairings. Am I overthinking this (as I often do)?

- If it *is* important, can I compensate by adjusting the fairing so the twist evens out from top to bottom?

Thanks all -

Dave
