Removing Oil from inside of cowl fiberglass

UnPossible

Well Known Member
Hey - quick question for the fiberglass experts. I am hopefully coming to the end of fitting the cowl to the fuselage. At some point I will likely paint the inside of the cowl to make cleaning easier in the future.

The last time I had the cowl off, I noticed that there was some oil dripping from the plastic temp spark plug plugs onto the cowl (I have now installed some old spark plugs to stop any further leaks). The fiberglass in this area looks a little darker. I've cleaned the area with acetone, but it looks like some of the oil is still there. Any suggestions on what else I can try to clean off the remaining oil remnants?

Thanks,
Jason
