Default Miami Executive FBOs

Hello All

Im planning a trip from Nashville (KMQY) to Miami Exec (KTMB) in a few weeks in my 10.

Anyone familiar with the FBOs at Miami Exec ?

Any recommendations ?

Thanks

Scott

Scott,
I?ve used IFC numerous times at KTMB, and have been pleased with their service. I haven?t been there for a few years, since retiring from corporate flying. They aren?t fancy, but prices were better than competition when I was there, and I felt that the airplane was safe. We have used their hangar a few times also. They have a couple large hangars at TMB.

I will be flying to TN on Monday to visit our daughter (lives in Franklin). I usually fly in to Tune, but not sure what conditions are since the tornado. I?ve used Smyrna a couple times. Tune is a little easier drive, but Smyrna works too.

Used Signature last December and was pretty reasonable prices. Services were good, you can offset the fee by purchasing fuel.
I was there just for the day, so I don't know how hangar space works.
Friendly people there also. Just my experience.

Avoid Reliance Aviation; high ramp fee and high fuel QTY to avoid the fee. It has been a while and I don't recall the fees. I switched to Signature and it was substantially more reasonable.

Call the FBO you choose before you go and get their fee breakdown along with a name. And don’t forget to wear your Miami survival gear. Gold chains, bracelets and Rolex watch. after all, it is Miami.
