Trailing edges of the flap and aileron

Afternoon all,

Having just completed the flap have temporarily hung onto the spar and noticed that the flap and aileron trailing edges don’t meet together. Is this normal on the 10 , could someone send a pic of there 10 to compare, . Have placed the fairing where it will go and lines up with the trailing edge no problem . I obviously haven’t done any rigging until later on. Thanks

This is the fairing and aileron

James,

This is what I had. Is the flap lying against the rear spar or propped up ?

P.S. Good to finally have another Scottish RV-10 builder on here :)

Think i believe I’ve found the culprit, the wings are currently clamped on my workbench at the inboard end (standard EAA bench) hence 2/3 of the spar is unsupported causing it to lean exactly at the location around the flap/aileron area!

I’m building the Mouser Stand next week in order to hang the tank
