My RV-7A 'project' has not yet begun. I have been in prep mode for the last few months outfitting the shop (ie- garage) and carefully selecting tools.
One of the big items was a compressor. I had pretty much settled on a 60 gal stationary and have been patiently waiting for the day to come.
The day came today. As my first entry/contribution into the VAF forum, I thought it my duty to let folks know that a nice Campbell Hausfeld 60-Gallon Air Compressor (model VT 627500) is on sale at Lowes for $399. It's not an Ingersoll-Rand, but at half the price, very good alternative.
Another nugget of reference material is attached showing Sharpe's recommended compressor setup.
