Is anyone traveling to Oshkosh from out west and wants a place to camp and hang out on the way?
Benson International (6MN9) is a quaint little grass strip 250 miles west of Oshkosh, located minutes north of MSP in historic White Bear Lake. Gas (100ll) is available and currently only $3.75/gal. (Cash only and a Benson association member must be present to activate pump). Ethanol free premium gas is available 1/2 mile north. Hose and cleaning supplies available to wash your plane.
EAA chapter 745 will be hosting coffee and doughnuts on Saturday, July 21 from 9 til 1. Come grab a doughnut and shoot the breeze. Camping welcome. Limited covered storage available.
Please pm or reply here with any interest. We look forward to meeting everyone. If we get enough interest, we could possibly do a hamburger feed that night also.
