Which Dexcool

It looks like there are several manufacturers making DexCool-- is there a preferred brand?

With the latest flap about TCP I'm liking this engine choice less and less-- aitofuel just isn't a viable option for me.

I got mine from Pep-Boys. I don't remember the brand(I think it was Prestone), but it says Dexcool or approved for Dexcool on the bottle. I mixed mine with distilled water from Wal-mart, but most autoparts stores sell a 50/50 premix.

Wayne,

I flew about 4500 hours behing Continentals and Lycomings. Now, with about 200 hours behind the 912 plus having torn it apart and put it back together at the Rotax schools, I thing it is an amazing little engine. Just remember, having an O-200 up front would add about 60 -70 pounds to your empty weight . That's why Cessnas new Flycatcher has such a poor usefull load.
