Canopy Frame ... Prime & Paint?

Is it OK to prime and paint the entire canopy frame? Are there parts of the frame that should be left bare metal so the fiberglass sticks?

My suggestion

Hi Jerry, You can prime it all over. You may have to re-sand a few areas, but that is ok. I used a flat white primer, and flat clear coat. It is very easy that way, to touch up later when you get a scratch.

Hi Jerry- The flat area, on the forward, out side of the frame, where the foam blocks are glued to, should be left unpainted, for the epoxy to bond to. Steve
