somewhere along in the build i must have pushed a little too hard with my hip a little too far aft of the firewall to move my plane while it was on 3 4 wheel dollies. aft of the firewall above the diagonal stiffner is an area of skin that naturally stays curved out slightly. mine will curve out but will also stay put in a slightly concave configuration. i am thinking of running a 11/2'' strip of 1/8'' aviation plywood from the forward corner of the ''shelf'' on the firewall to about the middle of the diag. stiffner. i would attach the plywood [inside cabin] with proseal and put a little outboard pressure along the plywood to recapture the slight curve.
anyone had any experience doing this anywhere? not any sign of any creases in the skin and before anything becomes more pronounced i think this will stop it. i don't have any intention of any metal stiffners and rivets. i think this will work?
