Default Armchair Aviating Tales for Cold Winter Days

Roy and I flew away from Hillsboro (KHIO) bound for Petit Jean, Arkansas and parts south-east. We had few known destinations - the RV fly-in at Petit Jean, Hiking in the Smokies, an aviation seminar. Other than that, we were wide open... for days... weeks even...

So we set out to explore, to see and experience the south and south east, to meet people, to visit friends and family. I kept track of our journey, and offer it now, in segments. Consider them Armchair Aviating for the cold winter days.
To begin... A little backstory. You see, we were off on our sailboat all summer...
