Page 35-16 - drilling WD-619 and WD-618-1 Canopy Release Assembly

I have assembled the release mechanism as shown on page 35-15 figure 3. I am ready to drill the release tube and crank, but I am concerned about the way they fit together. Specifically, page 35-16 figure 1 shows the WD-619 inner tube flush with the WD-618-1 outer tube. Mine is about 1/8" back inside the outer tube, as if the inner tube is not long enough. If I drill 0.313" back as the plans show, and drill #12 (0.189") per the plans, my edge distance on the inner tube will be:

+ 0.313 center
- 0.095 hole radius
- 0.125 backspacing
----------------------
.093 edge distance

This seems pretty small. Thoughts?

Specifically, page 35-16 figure 1 shows the WD-619 inner tube flush with the WD-618-1 outer tube. Mine is about 1/8" back inside the outer tube

I noticed the same thing and chose to drill the hole a little further in, about 1/8 inch
