AP-60 sound levels

Thanks - quick question on the AP-60 - is it an issue that you can't adjust the sound levels? Vern's seems to have this feature as does all the other generic mixers I looked at.

How much current do you plan to actually use off this alternator? What battery? The EarthX will pull as much power as your alternator will deliver after starting, but that's only for a few seconds....

Duh - I didn't even know this was a thing. I have the EIS4000 with external sensor so will have a look at this. Seems surprising that they would feel that 3-5% error is "good enough".

The stock seat seems pretty beefy to me, but perhaps there is a weakness in the design that's not obvious.

Probably best to have the CG on the forward side of the envelope when you are doing this for the first few times. Thankfully this is not so hard to do on an RV-8 with a metal prop.
