I hope he realizes that a 4-cylinder 4-stroke engine fires every 180 crankshaft degrees, which means that to get the other coil to fire, you need to rock the crankshaft at 180 deg from TDC #1 cyl.

I had the same problem with my -6 a long time...

I had the same problem with my -6 a long time ago, and had heard (I think on MotorWeek) it's most likely caused by fuel deposits on the resistance wire causing the wiper to make inconsistent contact....

Had a Kavlico oil pressure sensor on my 2003 Silverado start reading substantially off-- although I can't remember if it was high or low. It had about 60k miles and 10 years on it at the time.
