SDS CDI question

My SDS settings include one titled "CRANKRET". Preloaded at 10.
I can't find this in the instructions anywhere.
Could someone give me a heads up as to what this is and how it is determined? I have a RV 10 with the IO 540 D4A5. Other ignition is a Lightspeed Plasma 3, I used the SDS to replace a magneto.

Thanks in advance,

Mike is correct. That controls retard when cranking. We want to fire the spark ADTC to make sure there are no kickbacks. We recommend ign timing set at 10BTDC at 500 rpm as well.

Some folks enter 15 for crank retard to fire even a bit later.

Thanks very much for the replies. I am changing plugs and reviewing settings and found this. Been bugging me for a couple of days.
