Lycoming Thunderbolt Cold Air Factory Option - Anyone got this? Any info?

I see that Lycoming has added a factory option for CAI albeit very pricey - 5k (versus Raven 2k for instance).....anyone opt for this? Any pics? any details?

Yep - I ordered this engine from Thunderbolt May 2021, and still do not have an estimate on when I can drive up to get it. And yes, it is overpriced.

I'll be using a new James Cowl made for this engine.

There's a new James Cowl for CAI? When I talked to the guy that owns it at OSH he told me there wasn't and tried to sell me his own "cowl-based 'CAI'" for $650 instead... did I miss something? I walked away from the interaction thinking a showplanes cowl was in my future...
