We have just purchased an RV6A (1999) with Lycoming 360 AIA - the previous owner cannot locate the POH and I wondered if anyone could point me to a reliable downloadable version please.

Usual advice that these are samples. All data contained is yours to test/verify. This ain't no C152 we're discussing here.

Keep in mind that a POH isn’t required for an experimental aircraft.For an experimental, AROW stands for Airworthiness certificate Registration, Operating Limitations, Weight and Balance.
