Lisa and I are flying our RV-10 from Portland to Myrtle Beach for a week-long vacation in mid-May. We'll be staying in Myrtle Beach. It looks like we have 3 choices for local airports: Class C KMYR, Class D KCRE and KHYW. Any local input or recent travelers who have feedback on who might be best for a week-long stay?

Have used Grand Strand several times. Very accommodating FBO and have yet to run into a controller having a bad day. This from a boomer who prefers not to talk to controllers at all. I usually get "Welcome to the beach. Enjoy your stay!" on the ground freq when I reach the apron.
