I prosealed and rivetted in my first tank rib three days ago and got pulled away before I could cover the shop heads with proseal. The proseal has now cured and I'm wondering if I can go back and still cover the shop heads, or if the opportunity has passed and I will never get a good seal by laying new proseal over the cured proseal (as scarce as it is around the rivets). It would be a lot easier to fix it now before the tank is fully sealed if I'm likely to have a leak later. Did I mess up? If so, should I drill out the rib and strip all proseal before redoing it?

With ”big aerospace” it is very common to apply new seal to cured, existing sealant. If you want to go the extra mile, Just abrade the surface, clean, and apply adhesion promoter.

Consider the Type A tank sealant. It's the same as our typical Type B except a whole lot thinner, and can be applied locally with a syringe.
